AnfyWarp - Copyright (C) by Fabio Ciucci 1996-99 This applet can warp/spiralise any GIF or JPG image. The only requirement is that this image must be sized equally to one of the powers of 2 (64x64 pixel, or 32x64, 128x128, ...). Changing parameter values allows you to simulate a "breathing image" effect. This applet is fully parameterized, so you can generate all kinds of warp effects. *************************************************************************** NECESSARY FILES. As well as the image to deform, and an optional overlay image, the following 3 ".class" files must be uploaded: Warp.class Lware.class anfy.class Plus, Warp.jar for speedy loading on recent browsers. ************************************************************************** EXAMPLE. Insert the tag in your html document as follows to add this applet to your page (Comments after the ";" symbol are code explanations and acceptable min/max values. They are not part of the applet language): ; Registration code (if you have it) ; Optional URL link when the applet is "clicked". ; Reglink opened in new frame? ; Name of new frame for reglink ; Statusbar message ; Image to warp ; resolution (1-8) ; spiral start (-10000 .. 10000) ; breath start (-2000 .. 2000) ; spiral add (0 .. 250) ; breath add (0 .. 250) ; spiral min (-10000 .. 10000) ; spiral max (-10000 .. 10000) ; breath min (-2000 .. 2000) ; breath max (-2000 .. 2000) ; Warp mode (1 .. 3) ; Optional image over applet ; Over image X offset ; Over image Y offset ; Memory deallocation delay ; Task priority (1..10) ; Min. milliseconds/frame for sync Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java. ; Message for no java browsers. ; End of applet tag **************************************************************************** INSTRUCTIONS. The following instructions describe how to change parameters: Attempting to change the "credits" parameter will disable the applet. To activate the reg parameters, read the shareware registration notes. In the "regcode" parameter, place the registration code you purchased from the author. If the code is correct and the applet is run from the registered domain name, you can use "link" parameters to link to a URL when the applet is "clicked". If you set "regnewframe" to "YES", you can specify a specific frame location for the reglink: "_blank" : To load the link in a new blank unnamed browser window. "_self" : To load the link into the same window the applet occupies. "_parent" : To load the link into the immediate FRAMESET parent. "_top" : To load the link into the top body of the window. You can also set a custom frame name, such as "myframe1". With the "overimg" parameter you can specify the name of an image that will be painted over the applet. The best options are transparent GIF images. NOTE: Animated GIF images are supported, but will be animated only on latest browsers (Netscape 4 and Explorer 4 or newer). With "overimgX" and "overimgY" you can center the image over the applet area. The GIF or JPG format image must be sized equally to one of the powers of 2 (64x64 pixels, or 32x64, 128x128, ...). Valid sizes, for example, are 8*8, 8*16, 8*32, 16*32, 32*16, 32*32, 64*64, 64*32, 128*32, 128*64, 32*128, 128*128, 256*128... The applet can be of any size. The "res" parameter determines the resolution: with res=1 pixels are small, but the effect is slow. With res=8, pixels are too big but the effect is faster. Optimum choices are 1-3. You can control and mix two effects: a spiralizer and a "breath simulator". Parameters w1start,wadd1,w1min,w1max are for the spiralizer. Parameters w2start,wadd2,w2min,w2max are for the breath simulator. The min, max and start values can go between -10000 and 10000, and you can set them as you prefer. The add values (the speed) can go between 0 and 250. If you set "wadd1" to 0, you will deactivate the spiraliser, and the image will only breathe. If you set "wadd2" to 0, you will deactivate the breath simulator, and the image will only spiral. By changing "warpmode" you will change the effect distorting the texture.
